Gran & Jerry's Christmas

We love our Gran & Jerry!
Who better to help open pink, bling, light up barbie heels than Big Mc.

Joseph got his first personalized sippy cup.

My precious Kira & Destry!

The grandkids and great grandkids. All of Gran's great grandkids were there except the oldest one, Stormi. Gage, Gavin, Grace, Ethan & Elliot, Cal, Blayze, John, Whitley, Joseph, Kira, Destry, Jaxon & Christy.

Destry giving his Daddy some loving.

Uncle Brian brought face paint. It was a hit all day long. They would wash it off when they thought of something else they wanted painted on their face! The best part was when they would ask for something specific and Brian would draw something different!

Once again, Gran's Christmas was wonderful! Food, fun and family, what more can you ask for!!! Oh, and a competitive Chinese Christmas! :)

Christmas parties at school

John's teacher drew the table cloths and the kids colored them.

Pre-school Choir Christmas program at Church

John & Whitley got to be Mary & Joseph for the big kids Choir program. It was precious!

You can imagine how entertaining these little ones were as they sang Joy to the World, Away in a Manger and their favorite, We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

They looked so cute, but I am not bragging!

December

This was the 2nd year we decorated Gingerbread houses with the Carters and the Bookers. The kids (and the Moms) love it!

Whitley made cookies with Mommy & Meme last weekend to share with the workers at Church.

We have a hot air balloon ornament from our trip to Albuquerque several years ago...this year I saw that John had put Bert (or Ernie I can't remember who's who) in the balloon.

Notice all of the ornaments on the bottom.

They were proud! Joseph slept through the tree decorating.

Whitley loves to dress up in her Hawk cheerleader outfit!

Joseph

We finally passed the bassinet down to our friends. We kept Joseph in it as long as we could, but he has grown out of it already!!!

On November 14th we dedicated Joseph's life to the Lord and dedicated ourselves as a family and parents to raise him according to scripture. I love baby dedication day at Church. It is different than what I was accustomed to at the Methodist Church. We write a letter to them to read on their 12th birthday. Also, the pastor writes a letter for them to read about what we did on this day and if they haven't already by 12 years old, to ask Jesus to be their Lord & Savior. It is a very special day. I have cried each time I have written the letters for our kids to open when they are 12.
