John lost his first tooth in May

I forgot to post John's first lost tooth. It seems early, but he is 5 now and his teeth came in very early when he was a baby....AND he lost his second tooth today!!!

Big Mc's workout program...

Couple reps with John,
A few with Whitley,

Some with Destry,

And a few more with Kira, that's how your workout your arms folks!!! John has always loved for Big Mc to pick him and the tradition continues with all the other grandkids.

John's birthday party at the pool

Whitley, John, Landon, Jacob, Parker, Tate, Lenia, Hudson, Kira and Kate.
The pictures are out of order and i can't move them around like i used to, blogger, gives me problems all the time these days!!! Anyway, we didn't open presents until we got home b/c the kids were having more fun swimming. John loved everything he got, thank you everyone!!!

The wind was blowing so we did not get a picture of John blowing his candle out.

We will miss seeing our SLP friends next year!!!

Parker and Jacob, friends since they were 2.

John & Landon have been friends since they were 2!

My nephew, Destry Ty. He LOVED the splash area at the pool, he went down the same slide 100 times.

My niece, Kira and John. They are 2 months apart and have tons of fun.

Whitley and my dad splashing each other.

John turned 5 on the 16th

Whitley doing the Happy Birthday Bubba dance. (note: we never called John bubba b/c we didn't want it to stick for the the rest of his life, but one day about a year ago, John said sissy, call me bubba not brother...and it stuck!)
Five, five, 5, FIVE!!! Tears for momma! John is such a sweet boy (except when he is not). He is our angel for sure, our first born, our son. He is so excited about the new baby coming and I can't wait to see him be a big brother again. He will start kindergarten in August and I know he will do great, but boy I am not ready for this!! The time has gone by so fast. I am ever so unbelievably grateful to have begun working part time in January to have extra time with John before he starts "big school". Thank you God for John and answered prayers and for leading our lives!!

His new rope and roping glove. What a tough cowboy!

And a roping dummy, he is very proud of his gifts from mom, dad and sis.

Swimming lessons

Whtiley turned 3 on the 6th!

We had a party at the house for Whitley on Sunday the 6th. It was a great party with a tinkerbell theme. She was exhausted by the end of it, but she loved everything about it. She is such a girly girl, but she is not afraid to get dirty either!
Big Mc and Grana with their grandkids, Destry, John, Whitley, Stormi and Kira.

Meme, LeeAnn, Auntie Lou, Kami and Aunt Janelle.

The day before we were at Dana and Tim's house and John loved hanging out with Destry.

John's end of school swim party

Above, Creed was nice enought to invite his friends over for a swim party on the last day of school. It was a lot of fun!

School for Little People

The kids last day of SLP was very sad for me. With John starting Kindergarten, the baby on the way and SLP no longer taking babies, we had to make changes for next year. The kids learned and grew so much there, I will forever be grateful to the teachers there.

Ms. Moran, Whitley and Ms. Canafax at her celebration. Whitley looks so big with her hair in a pony tail.

Getting ready

I posted pictures of Whitley's room almost a year ago, the bedding was very bad, I took it back and we started over. Colors are pretty much the same and we used Mamaw's quilt at the bottom of the bed. I love the way it turned out!
We rearranged John's room to make room for the baby. Whether it is a boy or girl it will be in the cowboy room for a while b/c it is the bigger room.

John's room is very full now, but we still have room in the middle to play.

They had to get in it as soon as they saw it set up. John even sucked his thumb like a baby!
Kurt and I got lots done several weeks ago while the kids were with Meme and Papaw. We were so glad to get it done before it got so hot.
