Halloween Parties & Programs

John was a Ninja this year. The kindergarten classes performed Halloween songs. John's class sang Head, Shoulders, Knees and Bones. John was quite the performer, he made everyone laugh with his dance moves!
Whitley was a Kitty this year. Below, Whitley's class is singing 3 Little Witches, here Whitley is acting out the part that says "sliding down the moon and they tore their britches", that's her favorite part.

Joseph slept through the party. And below is Joseph in his outfit from Aunty L.

A look back

Above, Whitley Marie
Above, Joseph Cole, below John Clayton in the same outfit

All my kids look just alike when I look back at pictures!

Joseph is 1 month old

Dana and her kids stopped at our house before they headed to see their friends in Ft. Worth. Above is Destry, Kira, Joseph, John and Whitley.

Kira and Whitley seem closer now that Whitley is older. They really like to play with girly stuff together. Kira and Whitley were playing with Tinkerbell and makeup and John & Destry were dressing up like a dinosaur and scaring the girls. It is so fun to watch them grow up together.

We are seeing these blue eyes a lot more now that Joseph is staying awake more.
He is a laid back guy so far and John and Whitley love him. He weighs 10lbs 6 oz and is 23 inches long. He is in the 90th percentile in height, 75th in weight. He has grown a lot in the last month!

John's field trip

I was able to go to John's first field trip to "Painted Ponies & Pumpkin Patch" last week. They did a little bit of everything and had a great time.

It was fun to meet the kiddos he has been talking about at home. He has a great teacher and loves his classmates.

October photos

Pumpkin carving last weekend, we let the kids do whatever they wanted. I thought they turned out cute!

We all went to the soccer game...above is the too cool soccer player and below is his biggest cheerleader!

And Joseph slept through all of it!

Below, an afternoon nap for everyone.

We are surviving

My new little man is so sweet! Above picture was taken yesterday. We are figuring out our new life slowly but surely. I am amazed at how we have been blessed with meals, cards, gifts and prayers. So many people have helped or offered to help with getting John to and from school and his activities. Our families, Church family, co-workers, friends and our babysitter have amazed us once again. Praise God for all these blessings, we are so thankful.
My big little man loves having a brother! Our friends brought John & Whitley big brother and big sister cookies.

And my little princess will be running the show from now on. She thinks she is the little mama!

The boys

Joseph is the 3rd little Hinkle to use this bedding and I still love it as much as when John was a baby.

All 3 of my babies watching cartoons after John got home from school.

I think our hands are officially full with these 3!

Above, the big boy soon after he was born! Within about 5 minutes of birth he had already peed on a nurse...at least we knew everything was working!

The morning he was born I had to take my very last pregnancy picture, bittersweet for sure!
