Raiderland!!!

We had a great time at Tech Homecoming!!  We could not have asked for better weather, we could have asked for a better final score, but hey, we did just beat OU so that makes us happy!  The kids loved the game, the cheerleaders, the band, the cotton candy, the dippin dots, the corndog, the popcorn and cokes!!!  We walked back to our hotel through the middle of campus at night.  It was fun to show the kids everything.  We even went into the library, it made me glad I wasn't the one in there studying!!!  Although, you never would have caught Kurt or me in the library on a Saturday night....EVER!!!  Kurt and I went out to Cagle's for dinner Friday night while my parents kept the kids.  Joseph stayed with my parents and got spoiled!!  We have such great memories in Lubbock!!!  I am glad I got to share those times with Kurt and we still get to talk about our college days together.  The picture above is terrible, but if your a Red Raider you know what it is.  GO TECH! 

Punkin Pictures

We went home to Floydada for Punkin Days.  It rained a lot, so it was a wet muddy mess and  we did not complain a bit b/c the rain was a blessing!!!  Joseph was sick, so he and Kurt went home early.  My Mom's side of the family gets together every year at this time.  It was great to see everyone.  The family has a new addition or two every year, we are blessed!

 There is nothing John would rather do than ride horses.  He just got this new horse, Oreo, from Papaw.  He looks really grown up in this picture with Kurt.  Kurt is riding our other new horse, Nick.  Nick is a little horse, and a little stubborn.

We had a great party for Joseph complete with BBQ and cake and family.  It was a great day.  He weighed 23 lbs 7 oz at his one year appt.  He didn't gain as much weight as we expected, but he is mobile now so that makes a difference!
