4 months old

Joseph is 4 months old. We started him on cereal...he wasn't too sure about it, but now he likes it. He has also had carrots now too. He weighs in at 16lbs 9oz and he is 26 inches long. He is in the 90th percentile in height and 75th in weight. He is kind of working on rolling on to his side, but is content laying on his back. Tummy time is not his favorite time of the day, but he is getting stronger in that area. When he smiles, his whole body smiles, he is pretty much happy all of the time (even in the middle of the night when he should be sleeping :)). John and Whitley love him and he lights up when he sees them!

JAM......

Junior Athletes in Motion

John is in JAM this year. They perform their basketball handling skills at the half time of the varsity games. They have the CUTEST routines ever!!! We are thankful for all the work some of the parents have put forth to get this all together! It is amazing that this huge bunch of Kinder-2nd graders get where they are supposed to be throughout the performance.

Fun pictures

Above, Joseph is laying on John's dog, Ellis, and covered up with John's blanket. This is the way I found Joseph one night in the living room, John had him all fixed up while I was cooking supper.

Getting so big!

Joseph & Brinkley

My friend Mary was in for the holidays and we got to meet her baby girl Brinkley. Brinkley is 6 weeks older than Joseph. Can you believe they are already holding hands!!! With an outfit like Brinkley's, how could Joseph resist!!!

Thanks for coming to visit us Mary & Brinkley!!! (We missed you Cody.)

Big Mc & Grana's Christmas

We had a great time at Big Mc & Grana's Christmas this year. John was sick, so we weren't going to go, but he cried and said "pretty please with a cherry on top, can we please go". How can you say no to that. So we rushed around and got ready and headed west. Then, Whitley got sick while we were there, but it was just b/c she ate too many sweets, then played too hard. There is never a dull moment with kids! We didn't get any real good pictures, b/c we were looking for the presents we brought....we thought we brought....we only made it with half of our presents so we had to mail the rest.

Christmas Day

John & Whitley checking out their stockings. Each child had a jingle bell from Santa in their stocking. They could all hear the jingle....if you've watched polar express you know what I am talking about. Whitley is holding the bag the jingle bell came in.

Christmas 2010 was our 12th Christmas together. It was probably the most exhausted we have been, but we made it through. Santa came about 11, then Joseph was up at 12:30 and 2:30, then John woke up at 5:30 trying to be excited, but first he threw up b/c he was very sick with double ear infections and a throat so sore he could not move his neck for several days without a lot of pain. He was a trooper though. So, we didn't get a lot of pictures, we were so out of it. We actually all went back to bed after the initial excitiement.

KK was helping Joseph open his stocking later in the morning. I don't know what we would have done without Meme, Papaw, KK, Toby & LeeAnn's help getting it all together before, during and after...THANK YOU very much, you don't know how much it means that you are willing to help us so much!

Above and below is at 5:30am, we all look exhausted, but that didn't keep us from being excited about Christmas.

More pictures to come later for the rest of our Christmas.
