Lana's Rehearsal Dinner

The kids thought the sunroom was built just for them. Clearly, I was not a good photographer b/c I didn't get any pictures of Lana and Levi. When their wedding pictures are on the photographer's blog it will try to post a link. The wedding was so beautiful and personal and Lana looked like a model for a bride's magazine!

VBS- Saddle Ridge Ranch

VBS was great this year! The kids LOVE it every year, but this year's theme fit them perfectly. Everyone wore their boots all week and John wore his spurs and took his rope everyday. The church was decorated so well, lots of work was put into the decor! We reached many families that do not have a Church home, hopefully we'll see them again soon!

Lana's Bachelorette Party

The weekend after Kami's wedding I went to Lubbock to celebrate my lil sister's bachelorette party, it was very fun! Above, Lana is with Erin, her friend from elementary school. They are both so tall and beautiful!

New bathroom

Several months ago our guest bath tub had a hole in it, so we had to rip out the old and put in new. I took it as an opportunity to update all of the bathroom. Whitley actually got to take a bath by herself which she has not done much of in her life, so I took pictures of that too. She sings nonstop all day long, so of course she was singing in the bath tub.

We had one sink, now we have two and we installed new tile floor.
We also had the cabinets refinished and added pulls to the cabinets.

New lighting and framed mirror. Also, the builder built a new cabinet for above the toilet and we installed a new toilet as well.

Dallas Aquarium

Since we were in Dallas for Kami's wedding we made it a mini vacation. We made a trip to the world aquarium and the kids loved it!

The sloth was just hanging out eating, he was not bothered by any of us. He was not in a cage or anything.

They did perfect! There was one point while sitting through the ceremony that they fought over holding the ring pillow, luckily it was not a knock down drag out fight.

Summer time fun at home

Our little plum tree made millions of plums this year. One branch was so heavy with plums it broke. Kurt's mom made the plum juice to make jelly when she gets time. It will probably make 50 quarts of jelly, that's a lot!
