My Baby is 2
Whitley Marie Hinkle turned 2 Saturday June 6th. On this day 2 years ago she was born at 12:46pm and she weighed 7lbs 6 ounces. We did not know if she was a boy or a girl until that very moment and when I saw she was a girl I was thrilled! A boy and a girl for the Hinkles! The entire pregnancy we said that a girl would be Whitley Faith and a boy would be Jackson Don. Then a few hours before she was born I told Kurt that since John has a family name if this one is a girl I want her to have a family name too....so we decided on Marie. Marie was Kurt's mamaw's name, it is Kurt's sister LeeAnn's middle name, my Mom's middle name and my little sister Lana's middle name. Whitley was a very easy baby and she is still very easy going....unless things are exactly as she wants them :). She talks all the time and she loves to ask why! She calls John, "John John" and she loves him very much...unless he is not doing things exactly her way. She is quickly becoming Daddy's girl as she grows older. She wants Daddy to put her to bed and John wants Mommy. She LOVES her blanky, she still wants a paci and she still likes to snuggle! She finally has hair long enough to put in a pony tail. She is very girly at times, but also has a tomboy side to her. We had her birthday party at the house with family on Saturday. I will post pictures ASAP. Thank you God for blessing us with Whitley!!! We love you sister!

John's First Business Deal
He is ready to take the check to the bank.
Kurt had a steer he took to my parents to sale on Wednesday. They tagged it in as John's calf and Saturday we received his check in the mail. John was sooo proud! Not only did it go through my parents auction, but we noticed that my Dad was the buyer too. Thanks Big Mc and Grana Mc!

John's School Presentation
Every year School for Little People has Anniversary Celebration and the kids "perform" for us. This year John's class performed 5 little flowers. It was great. You can see that some of the children were not so into being on stage. John was right at home up there.....
